Go - Watch Out For One Another
- Care Team – will assist the congregation caring for one another (members and community alike) as the Holy Spirit sends us by:
- Meeting regularly to –
- Identify congregation and community members in need of care;
- Communicating needs to the congregation and the Serve Team;
- Scheduling a visitation list;
- Supporting the Pastor in making visits;
- Facilitating a community of care-givers;
- Praying for those in need.

- Serve Team – will assist the congregation in serving one another (members and community alike) as the Holy Spirit sends us by:
- Identifying and prioritizing specific needs within –
- The Congregation
- The Community
- The World
- Communicating the needs to the congregation and community through –
- Announcements
- Newsletter
- Bulletin Board
- Classes
- Coordinating communal response –
- Seeking contributions for the Samaritan Fund
- Creating specific serving opportunities throughout the year:
- Two to three “Be-The-Church” Sundays;
- Christmas giving opportunities;
- Lenten giving opportunities;
- Specific global focus (such as Guatemala, Haiti, or other locale);
- Emergency needs.
- Identifying and prioritizing specific needs within –
- Stewardship Team – will support the congregation in its mission to gather, grow, and go by:
- Overseeing the financial obligations of the congregation –
- Financial Secretary – income, revenue, and deposits;
- Treasurer – expenses, payroll, and budgeting;
- Memorial/Endowment – memorials, endowments, and investments.
- Developing resources according to biblical principles and priorities –
- Time & Talent:
- Assuring the time & talent form is updated, correct, and utilized;
- Provide opportunities for congregation and community to identify their Spiritual gifts, interests, and passions in light of our mission.
- Treasure:
- Educating members on financial stewardship;
- Coordinating annual Stewardship campaign;
- Along with council representation, develop annual budget.
